Perthshire Trophy(r2) – Bank of Scotland 27/11/2007

So the big match against the Bank of Scotland – always a tough one. And so it proved. Unfortunately our team on rink G never got going at all and offered to shake on it after 7 ends with the score at 0:10.

On the other hand rink H were on the ball. In a very tight rubber a final draw to the eight-foot saw CraigieHill notch up a 5:4 win.

CH 8:3 K&M

A great team effort saw us through to the next round with a 8-3 victory. Winning the first four ends (2,1,1,2) put us 6-0 ahead, but a couple of loose gaurds and a bit of bad luck with a pickup allowed them to win the next 2 ends (2,1) to put the score 6-3. We then won the next end with a 1 (even thought the skip had not had a chance to play his last stone!) and got a 1 in the final end to wrap up a magnificent victory.
